Our Selection combines three exclusive varieties of Palo Santo incense in sticks. Each variety is characterized by a different cut and a different intensity of fragrance.
What does the kit include?
The Kit includes the terracotta stake holder plate and three different varieties of Palo Santo stakes, selected according to our experience, to offer you the best Palo Santo for every different occasion of use.
- Palo Santo Amarillo : This is the variety of Palo Santo that grows in the Manabì region, in southern Ecuador. In this area, the Bursera graveolens tree enjoys very favorable environmental and climatic conditions. In fact, the slightly rocky soil, the gentle temperature changes and the proximity of the sea make the aroma of this variety more delicate and balsamic. The ease of lighting these sticks, which come in standard sizes, make the Amarillo variety the ideal choice for those approaching this natural incense for the first time .
- Palo Santo Especial : This is the variety of Palo Santo that grows in northern Peru. The Bursera graveolens tree, in this area, grows on rocky terrain and with harsh climatic and environmental conditions that favor the development of a large quantity of resin and a particularly strong and intense aroma. The cut of this stick is larger than the standard size, its lighting requires participation and the resulting fumigation is abundant: it is the ideal variety for rituals and purification ceremonies .
- Palo Santo Seleccion : Like the Palo Santo Especial, this variety is also made from Bursera graveolens wood collected in the mountainous areas of northern Peru, characterized by an enormous quantity of resin. The Seleccion stakes are patiently and expertly hand-cut into extra-thin sizes, very easy to light, and are therefore perfect for light and quick fumigations .
- Terracotta incense holder: Each piece is unique because it is handmade by expert South American artisans with traditional techniques and decorations passed down through generations. It is perfectly suited to be used with stakes, with incense sticks and with our White Sage smudge. During fumigations, the saucer collects the ashes of the embers at its base; after fumigation, it is an elegant furnishing accessory where you can arrange your incenses in order.
(The choice of the saucer inside the kit is random and the decoration may not match the one in the photo.)
All you need to do is light the incense and insert it into the holder. Your hands will be free and your surfaces safe: you can fully concentrate on your wellness ritual while fully enjoying the benefits of Palo Santo.
How do you use the Palo Santo stake?
Lighting the Palo Santo wood in the correct way helps to fully enjoy the aroma of this natural incense. Its use is very simple, you just need to do a little practice:
- Bring the Palo Santo wood close to the open flame of the candle.
- Let one end of the stick burn for a few seconds. Be careful not to keep the flame burning for too long or you risk burning the resin contained in the Palo Santo.
- If the flame goes out on its own after a few seconds, don't worry, that's how it's supposed to work.
- Once the flame is out, blow on the layer of embers that forms on the end of the stick.
- If necessary, repeat the operation until a uniform layer of embers forms.
Enjoy the aroma! The smoke that the stake releases into the air is the scent of the essence and aroma of Palo Santo. The vibrations it spreads create a clean environment that promotes relaxation and introspection.

Here's what makes our Palo Santo so special
Our Palo Santo wood comes exclusively from Bursera graveolens trees that have fallen naturally at the end of their life cycle and have been left on the ground for at least 3 years. This natural process gives the wood its unique properties. Each piece is then cut, selected and packaged by hand in collaboration with local Ecuadorian communities, according to ethical and fair labor relationships.
