Sustainability
Bursera Graveolens is the plant from which Palo Santo incense is obtained. We only collect wood from plants that have fallen to the ground at the end of their life cycle. The wood is then left on the ground for 2 to 4 years before being harvested: this determines the sweet, intense and balsamic aroma typical of Palo Santo.
Our Palo Santo is 100% natural.
Ethics
For years, we have been providing work and support to numerous families in local communities, who carry out the entire manufacturing process on site.
Their task is to select the most valuable parts of the wood, excluding roots, bark and other natural imperfections of the plant. It is also thanks to them that our Palo Santo is one of the most used in Europe.
Reforestation
Palo Santo grows in the Dry Forest between Ecuador and Peru. When the tree falls to the ground at the natural end of its life cycle, we immediately sow new plants.
