Chandra is born from the combination of White Sage leaves and White Copal resin, sacred incenses that pass down centuries of wisdom in their energetic properties.

Chandra fumigation creates a harmonious synergy of scents and benefits, capable of awakening the sixth Chakra - or third eye - to stimulate mental clarity , deep introspection and intuitive wisdom .

Chandra is a Sanskrit term meaning "Moon": it embodies the strength of intuition, femininity and the spiritual path. This fumigation evokes the very essence of the Moon, and its primary element Water , spreading a bright and clean energy into the environment. With its balsamic and penetrating fragrance, Chandra opens a path of deep inner exploration , illumination and expansion of one's awareness.

What is the Chandra incense blend composed of?

California White Sage ( Salvia apiana ), a plant sacred to Native American peoples, has been known and used for millennia as a natural incense to purify and protect environments and people from negative influences. Its presence in the Chandra blend is accompanied by White Copal , a precious resin native to Mexico, extracted from the Bursera bipinnata plant. Traditionally used in shamanic rituals and ceremonies for its aromatic and purifying properties, White Copal is considered a powerful means to open energy channels and connect with the Divine.

The best method to obtain maximum yield and enhance the beneficial properties of incense is to use it with the copper Sublimator . The pure aroma of resins and herbs will be released without producing smoke or odors related to combustion and the diffusion in the environment will be delicate and long-lasting.

The steps to follow for a perfect sublimation are:

  • Light a small candle and place it under the copper saucer of the sublimator. After about a minute the saucer will reach the ideal temperature to start sublimation.
  • At this point, place a pinch of the incense mixture previously pulverized in the mortar on the saucer.
  • The aroma of the incense is released into the air from the first moments. The duration of the fumigation depends on the quantity of the mixture that you want to sublimate on the saucer.
  • When you decide to stop the sublimation, simply turn off the candle. The incense mixture that has not exhausted its aroma can be reused later.
  • If the incense no longer releases any scent, after having extinguished the candle and allowed the sublimator to cool, it can be removed by applying a little pressure under the copper plate.

For deep rituals and purifications, you can use the incense blend on a lit charcoal inside one of our Incense Burners . The experience will be intense and enveloping.

In both cases, we always recommend pulverizing the incenses with the help of a mortar before using them, to promote correct fumigation and avoid carbonization of the resins.
