A package designed to be able to carry out traditional purification ceremonies with natural incenses.
The fumigation of Palo Santo grains with the traditional cup brazier is ideal for experiencing rituals and deep purifications. The fumigation obtained is abundant, prolonged and autonomous, and allows you to create blends and synergies of incense for an intense experience.
What does the kit include?
- Copalera Sahumador: is a cup-shaped incense burner linked to the ancient traditions of pre-Columbian cultures, handmade in Ecuador in terracotta. It is perfect for burning resin incense and grains with charcoal. Designed for intense fumigations, ceremonies and deep purifications, the Copalera is simple to use and easy to transport even during fumigation.
- Palo Santo 'Especial' Grains: the grain format is suitable for those who intend to perform purification ceremonies and rituals: once placed on a charcoal they allow for autonomous and long-lasting fumigation. The 'Especial' variety of Palo Santo, originally from northern Peru, is characterized by a strong and intense aroma, with sweet and dry notes that touch deep emotional chords.
- Charcoals: recommended for fumigations with grains, shavings and resins. Their characteristic convex shape ensures long combustion, gradually spreading the fragrance released by the fumigation into the environment. 100% vegetable origin, each wafer measures 3.3 cm in diameter.
Why choose Palosanto® kits:
The Palosanto® brand ensures 100% natural, ethical and sustainable products.
Our Palo Santo wood is harvested exclusively from Bursera graveolens trees that have fallen naturally at the end of their life cycle and have been left on the ground for at least 3 years. The wood is then cut, selected and packaged by hand in collaboration with local Ecuadorian communities, according to ethical and fair labor relationships.
Our terracotta accessories are handcrafted in Ecuador according to a responsible production that supports local communities. Each piece is unique, entirely modeled and decorated by hand, according to ancient traditional techniques, passed down from generation to generation.
- Light a piece of charcoal and place it on the metal holder inside the brazier. For a short smoke, we recommend breaking the charcoal into two pieces and lighting only one.
- Wait a couple of minutes for the charcoal to activate, so that a thin gray layer of ash forms. At this point add a pinch of incense grains or shavings.
- The holes allow for proper ventilation and therefore constant and long-lasting fumigation. In braziers with lids, combustion will be slower and smoke production will be limited.
- Refresh with new incense whenever you wish or when the aroma runs out.
- If you want to stop the fumigation, remove all the incense on the charcoal, using a spoon or other heat-resistant utensil. Let the charcoal burn out on its own.
- To fumigate the cones, you do not need charcoal. Simply light the tip of the cone and place it inside the brazier: the fumigation will continue autonomously for about twenty minutes.
