This blend is made from California White Sage leaves and Dragon's Blood incense.

When White Sage and Dragon's Blood come together in Kaya, their aromas blend in a purifying synergy that frees environments from discordant frequencies and activates a flow of regenerating energy that envelops spaces in a veil of protection and harmony .

The name Kaya , from Sanskrit, means "Body" and reflects the transformative power of the blend. Kaya is a call to a profound rebirth: its energy helps us to regenerate and realign ourselves with our most authentic and vital essence, promoting balance and psycho-physical well-being. Its fumigation acts deeply on the body and mind, stimulating inner awakening and spiritual connection with the earth and the vital energy that surrounds us.

What is the Kaya incense blend composed of?

White sage ( Salvia apiana ) has long been known for its energetic and spiritual cleansing properties. In Native American traditions, its leaves are burned to produce an aromatic smoke believed to clear the environment of negative influences, creating a sacred space.
Dragon's Blood , a precious resin obtained from Croton lechleri trees in Peru, amplifies the purifying effect of Kaya. The deep red sap is known as a folk remedy for its healing properties on skin wounds. When used in solid form as incense, it promotes spiritual healing and connection with vital energy and ancestral roots.

The best method to obtain maximum yield and enhance the beneficial properties of incense is to use it with the copper Sublimator . The pure aroma of resins and herbs will be released without producing smoke or odors related to combustion and the diffusion in the environment will be delicate and long-lasting.

The steps to follow for a perfect sublimation are:

  • Light a small candle and place it under the copper saucer of the sublimator. After about a minute the saucer will reach the ideal temperature to start sublimation.
  • At this point, place a pinch of the incense mixture previously pulverized in the mortar on the saucer.
  • The aroma of the incense is released into the air from the first moments. The duration of the fumigation depends on the quantity of the mixture that you want to sublimate on the saucer.
  • When you decide to stop the sublimation, simply turn off the candle. The incense mixture that has not exhausted its aroma can be reused later.
  • If the incense no longer releases any scent, after having extinguished the candle and allowed the sublimator to cool, it can be removed by applying a little pressure under the copper plate.

For deep rituals and purifications, you can use the incense blend on a lit charcoal inside one of our Incense Burners . The experience will be intense and enveloping.

In both cases, we always recommend pulverizing the incenses with the help of a mortar before using them, to promote correct fumigation and avoid carbonization of the resins.
